I have a quick question. Adrienne is not able to come to book club this next week and ask if I would host. Do we want to start the summer reading early, or should I go ahead and present and we'll meet at my house the first week of June.

I am fine with either, but we just got the final approval on our short sale offer, so it's looking like we will be moving the first week in June anyway... so my vote doesn't really matter, I guess!
Yeah anyone who moves into a way nicer house is so out and no vote counts!! :) Whatever... you think you are going to get rid of us that easy you better think again! I am good starting the summer reading early!! I might be late, Tuesday is my AA meetings so you know I must go to them. It gets done at 8:15!! So happy for you Lorene!! Please tell me you are still staying in the group?!!
There has been a snag on the house thing, in the form of a very slow leak that has been going for a very long time and has soaked a good portion of the kitchen linoleum and subfloor and down to the ceiling in the basement. So, if the bank/seller will pay to fix that, we'll still most likely move, but possibly not until later... we shall see! We may just stay here forever, which is fine by me!
Noooooooooooooo! Lorene, that is so sad for us. But I really am happy for you! You will still be part of our book group, right?
And Sarah, I vote that you present books ths month and we start the summer reading at the beginning of June. But, I am flexible. So whatever you decide will be great.
So, I actually had my comment written a couple days ago. But Nate has our Internet turn off at midnight and I tried posting it right after midnight, so it didn't work and I just posted it this morning. Then I saw the other comments and felt kind of silly that I had posted mine when Lorene had already answered my question. But, I will say I am so happy you will stay with the group. I am sorry about the water damage too. What a downer! And I am super excited for book group tonight! See you soon. :)
